We don't know that. How can you be so sure of that? NX will probably be a different architecture than Wii U. Why should all Wii U games automatically run on NX? Do they emulate the PowerPC on hardware which ain't much faster (or probably even slower in case of the NX handheld) or will they add expensive hardware for BC? How big and heavy will the NX handheld be if it has to be able to play WiiU games (which were optimized for different hardware) additionally to native NX games?

I would be very happy if the NX hardware is 100% backwards compatible to Wii U and 3DS. But I have serious doubts that it will happen.

We don't know a lot of things, but we can infer from Nintendo's comments about absorbing the Wii U's architecture to avoid software droughts when launching new platforms, on top of their recent comments on the importance of BC, as a pretty safe assumption.

I actually have doubts about how many Wii U games will be compatible on the first generation NXDS, though, simply because of the change in screen resolution. But the NX console is pretty much guaranteed to be 100% BC with the Wii U eshop. And I think it's 80% likely to have the same with the 3DS eshop. The caveats of that will be from all the duplicate games like Smash 3DS, VC, etc. Though I'm sure they will find simple way to just make those games unpurchasable on the NX platforms.
