He does say that their own software doesn't sell as well when there's alot of competing software. Which pretty much means that third party exclusive games aren't as important as they would be if their console was struggling.

He didn't say it doesn't sell as well, he said it doesn't do as well in terms of marketshare, which is pretty self explanatory when there's more competition. You keep taking the things he said and drawing conclusions that don't exist.
