Why not just learn to get around projectiles with Metaknight?

How? I don't see any way around them.

Like what? What's an example of a projectile that gives you a really hard time?

Anything with knock-back were I can be camped. Likes Pit's arrow.

 

What's to stop you from just walking forward and dodging each one?  I do it all the time when I'm on a flat place with Pit and Link players shooting arrows.  You just need to resist the urge to jump against Pit until you're closer as his arrows can be aimed.
