Nintendo - No memory device! - View Post

Alright is it just me or is it pathetic that their is no hard drive or memory device other then SDCards and USB. Now Nintendo isn't the only company to blame here, what about all of the third party hardware manufacturer's? I mean their is massive demand especially with WiiWare launching next week for a hard drive or memory unit that can hold more then 2-Gig's and be used by the Wii like internal memory.

Madcatz, Intec and all the other 3rd party hardware manufacturers should be able to develope an external hardrive for the Wii. A USB based hard drive or an SD based one. I mean the console has been out like two years this year and their is no external hard drive.

I know I for one am down to 150-blocks on my internal memory. I don't like using SD cards and such to hold my games and don't want to delete the games for fear Nintendo in the future will close the service and the games will become impossible to regain.

So the question with overwhelming demand for a storage device why has nobody made one. Where is the third party hardware developers or even Nintendo's internal developers. I bet we see one revealed at this years E3!
