Most people will buy the handheld, it's just been overwhelmingly the more popular hardware version for Nintendo even though the console tends to get the "bigger games", so now that the portable is going to have all the games, I don't know how many people will bother with the console, or want to pay $200-$300 just to play the same games on the TV. I'm thinking they may be more apt to spend that $200-$300 on a Playstation 4 since it offers a different library if they want a console and just buy the Nintendo portable if they're interested in Nintendo games.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think I read somewhere that Nintendo said that not all games would be playable on both, that there would be exclusives as it has always been? So people would still have a reason to buy the home console (at least I hope so).

Also, I don't think the alternative to the Nx home console would be a ps4. The library is different, yes! But what if they don't like those games? The market for the nx console would still be there to anyone into nintendo games, even if they already have nx handeld.

The few exclusives it may have, playing on a big screen and... I'm sure there will be more advantages for buying it!

And just to finish, I envy you a little bit for having all nintendo consoles, I sold mine to buy the newer generation each time! And God, do I regret it everyday! :(
