The OS of my NES is even faster! It's so friggin' fast I don't even notice it is there!
Seriously though, I couldn't care less about an OS on a console. In fact, it's really turning me off lately. I want a PS2 OS again. You put in a game and the console starts right into it. You don't ever see the OS, you're just playing games! I was playing Mega Man the other day and all the time the system kept spamming me with stupid messages. "Blah bla, your bro is in a party dude!" "Hey, don't you wanna join your friends' party?!" "Oh hey, you got a silly trophy for doing easy shit that every monkey could do!" "Come on, share your new trophy, upload it to Facebook and Twitter, yai!" "Oh hey, check out the newest discounts in the store!" "EMERGENCY: You don't have a plus subscription! OMGZ!" "I feel lonely. I think you're cheating on me with Siri"
ok, git drifted away a little, but every time those nasty messages blocked my friggin' Life bar at Mega Man! It was annoying as hell! I just cut the internet at the end. Screw Operating Systems on consoles.
