Any Nintendo fan for more then two generations already knows that just because Nintendo doesn't release a new iteration in a series, it does not mean they will do so on the next system.
The only games that are guaranteed are Mario, Kirby and Legend of Zelda. Every other franchise gets nothing if Nintendo doesn't feel they can make a profit of it.
