The Steelers have Bell back, and they have quite possibly the best receivers in the NFL. Yes, their defense has been bad, and they have amateurs out there playing D back, but they have so many good pieces on offense I think they will eat clock, and they will win this against a lost cause Ravens team that I unfortunately thought would be a lot better than they are this year. |
I'm not that down on Michael Vick himself, I just think the Steelers' offense itself is massively overrated. Outside of blowing up San Francisco (which Arizona did the next week), they haven't really put together a performance that's thoroughly impressed me. 21 points in New England (7 of those coming on a garbage time TD), and 12 points against the Rams. Now that offense is having its QB replaced too. So I'm not too high on Pittsburgh atm.
The Ravens, meanwhile, while they haven't won a game, have played possibly the toughest schedule in the league thus far, believe it or not. The three teams they've played have a combined record of 8-1, and each game has been very close. I don't expect them to turn their whole season around, but I think they've got enough to take advantage of a handicapped Pittsburgh team.
