It's very likely that the 360 and PS3 will have a smaller gap, percentage wise, over the next three years than they do right now.
Bah that are conclusions that have been pulled out of a dark place. The gap seems to be growing. The 360 had two advantages price and games. Games will be a wash soon and price will get smaller (in absolute terms) when both get cheaper.
The PS3 is a BluRay player has the brand, better quality and IMO some serious design advantages. So my consclusion (that has been likewise pulled out of my mind) is that the gap will get bigger. And we will see who is right.
