I made it on the second attempt yet maybe that was a fluke lol. I wanted to complete it again but couldn't repeat it in another 5 attempts before I had to go. The jump after the race got me twice, just a bit too high. I can make the race, yet one time my momentum carried me off the ledge trying to catch Yoshi. I failed twice on the jumps over the moving saws, somehow missing them all lol. And once in a semi blind jump near the start, slid too far into the saws.
It's fair. The problem is the slow screen movement, with Yoshi you easily end up on the far right into a blind jump.
