This is actually very smart marketing by the Pokemon Company, living in Japan, I've seen like a whole line of books on animal asses. 
A hardback collection of hamster asses anyone?
My girlfriend and like every other girl here for some reason thinks that they are like the most kawaii things ever. I don't really understand the whole trend, but hey, whatever floats their collective boats.
