Thats why i said about the same speed.And Splatoon didnt take the whole month.If im not mistaken, it was like 3 weeks and 3 or 4 days.

But both did amazing, even if the numbers for mario maker were expected

Yeah, now that I remember, the news about Splatoon were in a month but later we knew that at the same time they were announcing that (or just a week later) the game was already 1.6m shipped, so it probably reached the million before the whole month, now I wonder how many units shipped SMM already has. Both have done great.
