Fallout and Xenoblade are in different universes of genres, platforms and audiences. |
So are CoD and Destiny but that doesn't mean Activision is gonna release them closer together. The only significant disparity between Fallout and Xenoblade is platform, and even then a large amount of Wii U owners have one of the twins too. Giving yourself more competition is never good; Nintendo releasing Star Fox in November even would've been a mistake because they're still competition with Fallout. You don't compete with ES or Fallout, period, without taking a hit, and unless you have a guaranteed hit you don't even try to do so.
I mean this next part: If you seriously, genuinely think it's a good idea to push Xenoblade's release date up so that it is MORE crowded instead of a relatively docile December lineup, then I have all the info that I need to respectfully dismiss what you have to say here. The game will already perform fairly poorly as it is, coming from somebody who is looking forward to it very, very much; moreover it's the kind of game that relies on long term sales if anything, because it's never gonna make a huge splash at launch. We're just lucky Persona got delayed, otherwise Xenoblade would've ended up completely screwed and then genuinely should've been delayed.
You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt! I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading. After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
