So as most of you might know Metroid isn't the luckiest of franchises, not only due to the problems Nintendo has to make regular entries in the series, but mostly because it's extremely forgettable since it was published in the same year of the extremely more popular "The Legend of Zelda" so the franchise is usually overshadowed. Next year is the 30th anniversary for both franchises and Nintendo seem to have great plans for Zelda since we have Hyrule Warriors 3DS and possibly Zelda U but on the other hand Metroid only got Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Do you think Nintendo will celebrate the anniversary in some other way or is MPFF the only thing we'll get ? Personally I think a main Metroid game (except if 2.5D and on 3DS) is out of discussion but Nintendo could celebrate in many other cool ways like remasters, remakes, movies (?) and so on...
