Ko Ta Ku, Enough said as to how good that article is really. Should someone be allowed to write for a gaming website who uses LMAO in bullet points?

Regardless of how badly.... wait... no Sony's fault of Bioshock Vita not happening? when Bioshock 2 nearly ended the franchise with it's bad decisions? I wasn't aware that Sony owned the Bioshock (first game exclusive to the 360 for a year or so) Franchise that is news to me.

But outside of how bad the.... Wait... Sony put bad ports of games like Call of Duty:Declassified on the Vita, Well damn, People really do forget some of these huge IP's that Sony own and control when it comes to list wars on here, I had completely forgotten that Activision were first party to Sony.

as for the other points

a 64gb mem card for $20 less than they suggest the 32gb stick is.

- Suggesting people wouldn't pay 250 to play destiny on the toilet? I mean... it's not just destiny, it's having access to your PS4 remotely from anywhere you can connect to the internet for streaming some files from and it can be used as an extra controller when in range of the system as well as offering the off screen play that the wii-u tablet offers for some of its titles.

"Remember the PS2? One of the most successful video game consoles in history? Chock full of great games that could be ported to the Vita in various ways? Someone should remind Sony."

I mean.... other than all those ps2 classics remastered for the Vita there is almost no proof of Sony (or other companies) bringing Ps2 love to the Vita (as well as obviously things like the psp GTA 3/Vice city spin offs) Final Fantasy 1-9 from the psone/psp area on the store.

I mean I'm not sure there is a single word of that Kotaku article that isn't click bait bullshit tbh, wait that first word isn't too bad if it's taken on it's own. "A" anything beyond that is too much.

Kotaku really is a joke and their points about Bioshock and Call of Duty are facepalm level asinine. However, I just have to point out that the God of War and Jak & Daxter collections were garbage on the Vita (along with a lot of other ports, many of which were botched by Sony themselves). Also, that memory card costs a whopping $88 USD which is about what I spent on my PSP (including memory card) so that is indeed a deal breaker.

BTW, how is the remote play on the Vita? I've heard coomplaints about lag and input options.

I had actually never played the Jak & Daxter games on the ps2 since I was more a GC teen at the time playing Mario Sunshine so the Vita version was the first time I played Jak, finished the first one and absolutely loved it, it had sluggish framerates at times but nothing unplayable and the game itself was still a treat in 2015, like I can't compare it to the original but yeah as a standalone game for those who missed it on the ps2, that collection is great imo.

We used the remote play over the weekend for Fifa14 using the Vita as controller 1 and a ps4 controller for another player (costly extra controllers yo) and yeah it was perfect both on and off screen for the vita, just have to be aware of the touch screens while pressing the square button, front touch screens gonna be L/R3 and the rear ones we had set up as L/R2 so rubbing the back screen could get your goalie running out into play at times, just had to be aware of the screens tho and it was perfect.

I know memory is costly on the Vita, but the suggestion in the article was that 32gb was $100 tho, which I was just making the point that double that amount of memory is still less than the price they quoted. Vita using CMA to a PC on a LAN tho is fairly fast at dumping games/saves back and forth to a PC, can set it up to do it wirelessly too if you're just shifting about smaller indie titles (took almost 30 mins to shift Project Divas 3gb over wifi tho, bad idea)
