"Nintendo is doing a good financial decision with this. The problem is not the bussiness department, but the Zelda team. They are the ones that took a lot of time to develop a game and wasted time with other minor ones that nobody asked for. If they've focused on this game and worked hard we could have got at 2014 or 2015, but they were lazy and stubborn believing the userbase will be happy with TWWHD and Triforce Heroes rather than a new one. Now that the next hardware is ready to launch and this game has more money and time invested is only logic to try to recoup all of it porting to a new hardware." |
I don't think it's the fault of the Zelda team that they did a massive open world game rather than a smaller game that could be made in a smaller timeframe. I think those calls are made at the very top, probably by the idiots who thought the Wii U would do well saleswise.
I never said it wasn't a good financial decision. I just don't think it's an excuse.
