Mobile Gaming Didn't Kill The Vita -- Sony Did

I think Sony are obviously responsible. The Vita might have ended up with 25 million lifetime if Sony had done the right things, but in the end, regardless of how you put it, it's smarter of to shift their focus from the Vita to the PS4 (Which, lo and behold, they have).
