So, were you hyped at the Wii U launch?

It was the most talked about piece of tech to show up at E3 that year aside from the obvious games (Skyrim and Zelda). I thought - and still do think - Nintendo was really on to something with the gamepad, though it needs some refinement. But then they just let those hype balloons deflate. E3 2012 didn't do much for me or most and then they just launched with relatively little fanfare. But with hindsight and info we have now, it would seem they had a lot of plans at the time of E3 2011 that just went south. The F-Zero launch title, their partnerships and relations with other companies, etc. Too many moving parts in a plan with too small of a window imo.
