Well done by the Falcons, especially Julio Jones.
Dallas did pretty well overall I thought. I heard late in the week that Jeremy Mincey, the best remaining DE for Dallas was out of this weekend due to concussion, at that point I should have changed my pick to be honest. With Gregory hurt and Hardy still to return, that was simply too much to handle for a full game. We even saw it in the way the game worked out. Dallas D started out pretty good, but with no real chance for rotation (and Hayden getting hurt but having nobody to bring in really), they started giving up the run game bigtime, and from there the writing was on the wall.
I think with Mincey back, they have a solid shot against a terrible NO team next week, but then you have the Patriots, which is a guaranteed L. So that's 1-2 for this stretch, leaving Dallas at 3-3 with 6 games to play without Romo, but with Hardy, McClain, Gregory, and Mincey back. Looking at that series, 6-6 is possible as a record coming into the final 4 games with Romo and Dez back. If they ran the table to end the season they'd probably be NFC East champs. We will have to wait and see who in the NFC East can get it together enough to present a threat.
But overall, still not bad. It would be like facing Atlanta without Matt Ryan, without Julio Jones, without their best 3 defensive ends, without their best Sam linebacker, and without their best slot corner (I'm probably missing some guys, but that is good enough). An intact Dallas team (or any credible upper tier team like GB, NE) would destroy Atlanta if they were that injured, and almost certainly beat them with an equal injury count.
