Dedicated gaming handheld market is close to collapse, don't kid yourself people.

Pff, don't say that. It's entirely Sonys fault, their first party and a price cut could have made the Vita a 100 million seller, so they should have just poured all their resources into trying to save the Vita, no matter how financially unhealthy that might have been.

I know you're being sarcastic but it sure could have saved it, if it had an ND developed exclusive (TLOU?), an exclusive God Of War game from Ready At Dawn instead of that terrible PS4 game they made, and an exclusive GT game grom Polyphony instead of GT6 on PS3. They could have also moneyhatted a Rockstar Leed developed exclusive GTA game and the BioShock game they had teased for Vita, and maybe given Gearbox some money to make Borderlands 2 for Vita along with the other versions. They would have made back that money quickly.

A GOOD exclusive Resistance and COD game in its first year wouldn't have hurt either.

No, just no. Sure that would have sold a couple more Vitas, but at what price? An exclusive Rockstar game? Do you have any idea how expensive that would have been? Naughty Dog isn't even interested in handheld development and you can't just set up a studio you don't own to make a game they don't want either (RAD). And neither and exclusive Bioshock game nor a multiplat Borderlands 2 would have been significant system sellers.

Sure Sony didn't help it, but the Vita was put on a road to failure from the beginning and these investments you talk about would have done nothing but potentially put the PS4 in a worse position.
