Get the girls now and not later sounds like a good idea. However it is not necessary yet. The wii is the most popular console among the females already. (Wii got girls.) So nintendo doesn't need to worry that the girls/women will buy a PS3 or a XBox 360 in the meantime. They can produce a pink wii later ... if they ever meet demand.
