Well 3DS is also weak..

No I dont think power is problem at all for Wii U, I am certain that even stronger Wii U wouldnt change anything, but on other hand only with normal marketing and name with smaller price Wii U would be done much better. Only real problem for PS3 was high price nothing else.

Of Course that I comparing Wii U with PS3/Xbox 360 because they were only consoles on market when Wii U arived and everybody compared Wii U with them and Wii U basicly died in first year. Nobody expect Nintendo fans wanted to give $100 more for Wii U because games looked and played similar, so Wii U clearly didnt worth $100 more than PS3/Xbox360. It not power, its price, power wouldnt change anything but lower price would change lotsa a things with right marketing, Nintendo is always looking to have very aforidible consoles but with Wii U they totally failed.

No, 3rd party abandon Wii U after terrible Wii U sales, we are still have much stronger 3rd support for PS3/Xbox360 than for Wii U. Of Course that PS4/Xbox One probably would be in worse situation than Wii U without 3rd party because people mostly buy those platforms for 3rd party games.

Actually jump from Wii to Wii U was huge jump, just look all those great looking Wii U games.

My point is that you said that problem for Wii U also was unique architecture, but also PS3 had very unique architecture. Nintendo will also correct that problem with NX.

No, your problem is that you think power was big problem for Wii U , but in fact that wouldn't change anything because there other much bigger mistakes that Nintendo made. Wii HD (with proper marketing) without gamepad and with $250 price would done much better than Wii U, not to mention other Nintendo mistakes that I already mentioned.

Also, guess what, NX will probably be underpowerd compare to PS4/XboxOne, but Nintendo will correct Wii U mistakes like bad name and marketing, it will have affordable price (around $250), good launch titles, probably better new concept/gimmick than gamepad, more user friendly architecture, because it will be unified platform it want be software drought like with Wii U....and will sell much better than Wii U even again will be underpowered.

@Bold - you are aware you're making no sense here, right? The games looked the same as on PS360, so the console was overpriced, but if the console was more powerful and the games looked better it wouldn't make any difference. WTF? So why does it make a massive difference for PS4/Xbone? When PS4/Xbone entered the market, PS360 were on the market as well and it wasn't a problem for these consoles, despite people comparing multiplats between these consoles as well. When people pay this much money, they want to see what they are paying for. PS4/Xbone shows them immediately what they have paid for, while Wii U? You honestly think it's more about price than lack of power? In other words, people would be willing to pay a bit less to get the same experience they already get on their PS360? I highly doubt that. Why would they feel the need to pay to get something they already have?

3rd parties abandoned Wii U for a number of reasons and lack of power and different architecture are among them. You can't deny simple, obvious facts only because they don't suit you.

Jump from Wii to Wii U... the thing is, nearly nobody was making that jump with Nintendo. Wii casuals left home console gaming and gamers who owned Wii also owned a PS360 or a  PC. This is a business and it's the point of view of the customers that matters, not the one of the company. And Wii U was only a jump for Nintendo, not for the gamers.

@PS3 having a different architecture - read my piece on it in my previous post. It was a different market, a different time and games had a different budget. And it was a problem even back then. PS3 got worse ports very often, it didn't get some games at all (Witcher 2 for example - CD Project RED officially said they didn't plan any future games in that gen, so there was no point in learning how to write the game on PS3 and its ridiculous architecture). The market changed a lot since the PS2, Sony is changing with it, Nintendo isn't. If Nintendo remains so arrogantly stubborn, it will be b!tchslapped again. Nobody in the industry needs Nintendo anymore, so nobody is going to care about their weird shenanigans.

I know Nintendo made many mistakes. You really aren't discovering America when telling me, that a console for $250 would sell better, then the same console costing $350 (and lets not forget it's this expensive because Nintendo are cheap bastards by default). But saying that power was never an issue in one paragraph and then giving examples of it being a very important factor (games looking previous-gen) you make no sense. And it's inevitable, because power is an issue in this business. It is one of the main issues, not the only one - the ones you list are important as well, but power is important. If you think it doesn't matter, then please tell me what other innovation of the PS4 was so incredible that the console is setting charts on fire at $400? What else makes it wipe the floor with Wii U and Xbone? Is it Knack?

You know as much about NX as I do - nothing. I've heard way too many times that "Nintendo has learned its lesson". They supposedly learned it with the 3DS and made sure there would be no droughts with the Wii U. We know how that turned out... So when it comes to Nintendo, I'll believe it, when I see it. When it comes to home consoles Nintendo just isn't Sony, you can't just buy their console and be 100% sure you're covered. That's the heritage Sony and Nintendo gained in the previous gen. I for one hope Nintendo takes a few pages from the company that manhandles them for the majority of the last two decades (in home consoles) and is set to do that in the upcoming years. It would be humiliating to release a console 3 years after PS4 and still make it inferior - after all, PS4 is no technological marvel. With technology advancing, they can get something more powerful yet competitively priced and they have to take advantage of it, or the PS4 will steamroll two Nintendo home consoles in one generation.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
