Thanks Philly "With Halo 5, the team really wanted to focus on making that experience great, both visually on the screen that you're looking at, and all the systems in place. While I loved the split screen of Halo 1, obviously it was kind of how multiplayer in Halo was born, I think the team made a trade-off based on what they see happening in the market today and what they wanted to do with their game." WOW SUCH DISHONESTY MUCH EVIL #FIREPHIL |
I wonder how many people here would have even gotten Halo 5 if it did have split screen.

Me in an instant. I'm an old school 33 year old gamer and my time with split screen co op halo campaign on the og Xbox, and even halo 3 on 360 is why I can't stand they took it out.
Without it, to me, it's like the soul is gone. That was halo to me. Maybe you're just too young and can't understand it, or didn't get to experience it, but us old timers remember it well.
