I'd certainly have better feelings toward the character itself if they didn't try to justify everything about him and glorify him to no end.

I wasn't being sarcastic btw. I'm really getting sick of being shoehorned into the good guy role all the time. It's fucking video games.....why must every protagonist always be a hero?
