Probably to cover the expenses of having renew contracts for the voicework. They all expired. 

I thought about that a few hours after I posted.  Obviously it took a lot of work to get this game to us...  But, I do own the disc.  I'm in a hard spot, lol.  I'd get MML2 for sure, because that game was actually stolen from me.  Maybe I'll shell out the 10 bucks to say thanks.
