you guys should get your language right... the changes arent about macro, they are abot removing(or not removing) micro heavy macro parts, aka the stupid parts that make the game slower because you have to pay more attention to your production(aka base). that takes away attention from the enemy, and makes player less aggressiv.

a game without those micro elements inside the "base" is BETTER,  because it swifts the gameplay more to pvp interactions and away from farmville in space.  there isnt much skill involved inside those basemicro elements.

and those elements take away win chances from macro heavy playstyles.

He needs to get his language right. I know exactly what we are talking about and am responding based on the language he is using. You also need to get your language right. There is no such thing micro heavy macro. There is macro, micro, and macro mechanics, which is what this entire topic is about. However, I legitimately think that the guy I keep on responding to actually wants all or most of macro gone from StarCraft. If he would like to talk about macro mechanics, which is what everyone in the StarCraft community is talking about, he should say so. Until then, I'm going to assume he's talking about macro as a whole.

what the difference between macro mechanics and micro? they made they  gave us stupid micro elements inside the macro, thats what we are talikng about, clicking every 30 s on a button has nothing to do with real macro.

and i dont think he is talking about makeing SC2 into a RTT...

Micro is the control of units. Macro mechanics are injects, mules, and chrono. That's the 30 second thing you're talking about.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.
