One city commission wants some attention. This is so stupid, but miami has always wanted to be the captial.
And as far as the state you have the
NORTH
Pensicola - Tallahassee - Jacksonville
CENTER
Tampa - St. Pete - Orlando - Daytona
SOUTH
Fort Meyers - Naples - Fort Lauderdale/Miami - West Palm
That riduculus idea would have only have Fort Lauderdale/Miami - West Palm in the new state.
