ministaff said: wow good job. they sell 197k in a week where probably the biggest game of the generation comes out for ps3.(he said sarcastically). WOW!!!! wii sold 199k (2k more than ps3) on a week where like wii fit came out a week ago.so ya you should be impressed with wii sales, not ps3. and almost 400k in america alone? are you serious? no you cant be serious, youre just joshing me right. wait never mind its possible because IT'S A WII!!!!!!!
so HA!!!!!!! |
Wii had two massive platform exclusives combo (Mk Wii and Wii Fit) against one paltry multiplat title on a machine without any highly anticipated exclusives that retails for twice as much and you don't think it is impressive? It is, man, it is. It is frickin unbelieveable it is... |
That's right Mummelmann, it is. I think some people underestimate the price difference between the two consoles. I think the prices can dictate where much of the others loyalty is. Ministaff think this is bad for PS3.......if he wants to imagine BAD, he should imagine what these numbers would have been like if the PS3 and Wii were at the same price point. | Not the stupid price arguemnt. Did being much cheaper help GC?

How could you call the price argument stupid, monetary issues must be the biggest issue when thinking of buying a machine. How many times I've heard even on this site that people picked a cheaper machine because they couldn't spare the extra money. Look at how well PS3 is doing in Europe while being so expensive. I think it's pretty obvious that brand loyalty, as described by many people who live in Europe, has a good deal to do with this. Sony has unparalled loyalty in Europe from last gen, Ninty to my knowledge wasn't as well received the gen before that. I don't know how anyone can neglect the effect of price on sales, it boggles the mind.
