wasn't planning to join in but this just made me really sad... The correct term is SKU or "Stock Keeping Unit" and not model. Microsoft introduced a new SKU with a new configuration, and that configuration being, no Kinnect included. It was priced at $399. That is not a price cut. That is a new SKU with a NEW PRICE POINT. Then the price was lowered by $50 on both SKU hence the new price points are $449 and $349. Now THAT IS A PRICE CUT. Again, just to make it very clear. Original SKU - Xbox one with kinnect - $499 New SKU - Xbox without kinnect - $399 = > NOT A PRICE CUT! New configuration with new price point Price for both skus went down by $50 Originak SKU - Xbox one with kinnect - $449 = > THIS IS A PRICE CUT Second SKU - Xbox one without kinnect - $349 => THIS IS A PRICE CUT. XBOX one has only had 1 price cut and price has gone down by only $50. And yes, I do have the authority and the knowledge about this seeing as i've been in retail and procurment for over a decade at a managerial level. I decide the price points for more than a thousand items/skus and i handle all new items and am in constant coordination with over a hundred suppliers and sheyt! so there. when it comes to this shyet! I am the authority! so everyone else with a different interpretation is WRONG! if anyones view doesnt not aligned with this, which is FACT, then booohoo fo you coz you are wrong and stop spinning things. |
It had two price cuts and that is a fact. They just took away kinect and sold the same Xbox by itself, which is a price vcut cause no one bought the Xbox for kinect and only paid that much because they had to.Kinect should have never been included within the price to begin with.
