How about we clarify what the "Arguments" are here.

You're saying that because Home Consoles and Handheld are placed in seperate categories, they are entirely different types of machines.

I'm saying, that just because they are placed in seperate categories doesn't mean they aren't the same thing, in the same category over all. Propreitary, stand-alone dedicated gaming devices. Their classified in different categories, because its specificity allows for better analysis.

I mean, what do you think the point of subcategories are anyway?

Instead of making a tangential appeal to authority, just look at the definition of a console is. I mean, what do you think the "Home" in Home Console means?


Handhelds and home consoles have as much in common as motorcycles and automobiles.
