I don't think there are that many reviews of Wii U VC versions of games. It was just today that I saw a like 2 forum threads from around the web discussing some of these issues.

Well, you could have looked into the Miiverse.

Curiously I did not have problems with laggy controls, and the analog stick sensitivity is something one can get used after a while (I did), but I agree about the C-buttons for the ocarina melodies
