You know, I have my doubts about that. I think it would require most of a generation to convince people that they offered the same kind of experiences as Microsoft and Sony. The average consumer, I think, would go in with perceptions that would have to be changed with concrete examples. Even if they did begin to match the others, Nintendo still has a reputation for changing their focus, which could also hurt them unless they put two strong console generations back-to-back.
