Yeah Phil, okay.
The PS4 doesn't have any reason to drop in price because sales haven't lagged since day one. Companies traditionally lower the price of a product when the product starts selling poorly at the current listed price. The PS4 has yet to lag in sales except in Japan and China, the reason they're getting price drops.
Xbox One had a price drop of $50 as well as giving several games away free because the sales they've been receiving month after month dropped significantly and it's the only way they can compete.
