SE always bends over to Sony, that's nothing new.

Also every console maker has bought and will buy third party games.

Nintendo: Bayonetta 2, Genei Ibun Roku #FE, Pokken Tournament, SSB4 (made by a third party studio), Star VFox Zero, TW101, Hyrule Warriors

MS: Recore, Scalebound

Didnt seem like it during last gen...

Last gen was really the beginning of buying out timed-features(ie Call of Duty DLC being available on X360 a month prior to the PS3) and/or permanently exclusive DLC/features on either console. MGS4 would have never run on 360 because it would have needed like 6 disks minumum to run but we did see MS entice Epic into makin Gears of War for the 360 and I'm sure Sony did something similar.  That seems to have manifested into completely paying off/contracting a studio to make a game entirely for your console. We saw glimpses of these practices in previous generations(Sony supposedly made a deal with Eidos to keep Tomb Raider exclusive to PS1 although it would have never run on N64 and the Saturn basically tanked by the time so I'm not sure on the validity of this notion) but this generation it is in full force. Hell, MS essentially bought out Bungie during 6th generation after seeing Halo. Same with Sony and Naughty Dog which to me was akin to Nintendo's aquisition of Rare in that Rare/Naughty Dog produce amazing games, although Rare was gone to shit after the founders left whilst Naughty Dog has blossomed even more.
