Yes, it does, because people made that prediction thinking in the worldwide release not in the Japan release, also as the day was not even over on Japan that´s tecnically not 8 days there and your attempt to say people was overestimating it on that thread is wrong because the most common prediction was around a week and that´s what happened.

Now, you're just making assumptions on what dates people based their predictions on. 7 days =/= 8 days.
