Unless its something like Illumiroom, reality augmentation is generally personal.

I didn't mean it would be a family aimed product ala that Wii, I meant that PSVR would be its own product family, separate from the PS4, and more akin to iOS, with the future iterations of PSVR being able to play games for previous PSVR hardware, and the other way around.

 

BTW VR and AR are two distinctly different things.
