I can't stress how much I love the God of War series! :) Although I must admit that Ascension's lackluster single-player broke my heart but it was still decently enjoyable and multiplayer was surprisingly great!
If I remember correctly, by the end of 2013 GoW: Ascension was already undertracked at retail by at least 200k+ according to NPD & GFK figures, I had all the info saved with the intention of making a thread but then thought 'fuck it' since all my other threads made no difference anyway lol.
I'd bet Ascension has sold around 3m at retail and I'd guess the digital sales are between 250k to 500k. Even if it only sold about half what GoW3 did it's still a titan of the genre.
If GoW3:R has legs half as good as the GoW: Saga then it will easily cross 1m lifetime, seriously go look at that collections 1st week and it's lfetime sales! Insane.
