Hi,
just stumbled upon a thread on GAF:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1113386
"I am currently a level 34 warlock in destiny, and I do not have TTK. things I cannot seem to do:
Strikes are only available at level 20 max. I have no way to od any strikes above that level
PoE is available to me only at level 28. After I completed the level 28 one, no other levels opened for me. Currently is the biggest level mission I can do.
All engrams I get seem to be giving me year 1 equipment. I got a green drop in mars that gave me a 165 armour. Later I got a blue engram that gave me a 101 armour.
Either this is temporary, or Bungie put the basics of year 1 game under the TTK paywall.
Anyone getting these issues as well?
EDIT - To clarify, I could do Strike mission from level 18 up to level 28 before
and I could do 4 levels of PoE missions, up to 34. So they locked me out of content that came with the original game and the 2 expansions afterwards"

So Bungie forces you to buy TTK to get content you had access to before.
What's your opinion about it? Is it ok to not get access to content which you bought and had access to before because of an expansion, no matter how good it is?
Right now I can't think of any game that ever did this before. Taking away several modes, sure (look at what happened to the multiplayer for GT5) but this is in another league as Destiny requires to be online so they can't take that away for obvious reasons.
