Used games are a very important thing! I mean, how else should I get NES games these days? If there weren't used games, Nintendo would be like "yeah, fuck you, buy old games on the e-Store". If one particular game isn't up there, well tough luck! That would suck pretty hard. Then there are console manufacturers that doesn't even exist anymore. Without used games, the games of the past for such platforms would be lost for all eternity.
If physical dies, so does gaming as a culture. 20 years from now you wouldn't be able to play old games from today. They would just be gone, apart from some remasters or remakes. The used market is VERY important for everything in culture and art. Only with that they are able to exist until all eternity. With digital only, DRM and all that shit, games just exist for a very short amount of time.
