i have that feel they wanted to let us know their intention to bring onimusha back to PS.
not through the obvious scenario samurai with demons in feudal japan. but that one scene where the protagonist is about to fight this demon which looks very similar to the demon semibosses in onimusha. he dodges and loses his helmet, his face is shown, camera centers. it immediatly reminded me of the infamous CGI opening of onimusha 3, the last game in the original onimusha series.
