Your big hitter list looks a little optimistic.  The bolded games aren't gonna hit the casual market nearly as hard as the ones not bolded.  Also, there is a lot of diversity in the line up.  Flexing release dates to not have 2 racers or 2 fighters come out in the same quarter is really all the maneuvering they will need.

The core market wouldn''t buy the bolded or some other games either with such a huge lineup. Time and money are an issue for many.

You are basing that on the idea that a "core market" consumer also plays all of those genres.  By definition I am a "core market" gamer, I own all consoles this gen, I participate in an online gaming forum.  In that list I see 2 games I am buying at launch (Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank), 2 I will keep an eye on (Horizon and NiOh), and 7 games that don't interest me enough to warrant a purchase.  Your personal list might have the same numbers but completely different games.  The diversity is what is going to continue to expand the userbase.
