Xenogears Vs Chrono Cross

I remember loving Xenogears and disliking Chrono Cross when I first played them both on PS1. Having recently replayed Xeno, it didn't lose much luster to me. I am currently an hour in on a replay of Chrono, so not much of a sample size to change my mind just yet.
