PC Industry Still Growing and Faster Than Consoles

So this is talking about hardware? By PC market do they mean anyone who buys a laptop/computer which makes it this entirely redundant or are they just looking at individual components that are bought(still kind of redundant)?

GPUs alone can cost 3x the price of the PS4 so looking at revenue alone is a bit of a miss and the article provides no context,

Software wise we know AAAs do significantly better on console, we also know PC has a much wider variety of software and huge markerts for FTP and MMOs. What are people even arguing over?

A fair few people have pointed it out a few times durin the thread that it's the same as suggesting that everyone who has a mobile phone has moved to using that now as their gaming device because it's possible to play candy crush on it as such everyone who had a psp or DS is now going to be exclusively moving to game on their phone. It is painful logic.

Both PC/Consoles/Mobiles all have their places, trying to compare certain numbers from each market against the other 2 will only end badly.
