intel, you mean you should get an INTEL cpu. they are far superior to amds, but well they arent cheap.
you can play most multiplats with a that amd cpu(the consoles have weak cpus too), BUT alot of pc exclusives will not run well because they need alot of cpu power.

Aye I definitely would not consider that bundle of cheap parts a next gen crusher, I mean sure it might have 8gb of Ram but that is going to be eaten alive by an OS unless you happen to want linux (lol game support) or steamOS when its ready. I know X1 and PS4 both have fairly heft OS's running on their memory as well but it isn't DDR3 and isn't nearly as much as Win7/8/10 would consume, also Windows is no where near as good at taking the resources for a Game as a console would be from the OS.
Again don't get me wrong, I agree you can make a good PC for little money, but going to PC part picker and trying to get the biggest on paper specs for the least money is not a good idea... heck even the comparison of the 1x8gb stick of memory compared to going with a 2x4gb pair would give such better performance.

Hahaha damn your good. That pc has been tested up against a number of multi plats and has been beating the PS4/X1 easy. And by him saying it could do with a better CPU he means for "PC Exclusives" or did you miss where he said "you can play most multiplats with a that amd cpu(the consoles have weak cpus too".
And also this comment right here "I mean sure it might have 8gb of Ram but that is going to be eaten alive by an OS unless you happen to want linux (lol game support) or steamOS when its ready " shows me you know nothing about PC gaming.
First of all, the is not one game out there that uses 8GB of System Ram. Also your video Card also has Ram, the one in that system has 2GB GDDR5.
And like what Generic-user said, you could always upgrade that card to a r9 280 for like $20-30 more and then you have a system that can easy beat the PS4 and X1 and would suit any gamer as long as they dont expect to be running new games in 2k res (Most older ones, Pre 2014 will work fine in 2k and lots in 4k).
So im sorry my friend that you have to come to the sock that PC gaming is cheap. And no matter how much you try to dismiss this fact and they and spreed lies "8gb of Ram but that is going to be eaten alive by an OS" such as that. It wont change the fact that more and more people are seeing great value in PC gaming and that its growing faster then its ever been. PC gaming is going though a Golden Age atm and the has never been a better time to join.

Lol spread lies (a pc will want an OS and a keyboard/mouse) my sides. I've said a load of times I agree that you can game on a PC cheap, but I just pointed out that pointing people to a bunch of pieces missing parts is not a great way to introduce people to PC gaming, for the first time buyer into PC gaming it would sadly be easier for them to get a better experience by buying a pre-built "gaming PC" shelling out the extra bit of cash and not having to deal with some issues that'll pop up from doing a custom build.
That said, I've no interest in Angst ------ so I'll leave you to it, just please if you are introducing more people to the world of PC gaming, don't make it a rocky road into the field and I would say they would have a far more enjoyable experience.
Oh the comment about using splitting $20 between mouse/keyboard for gaming, I would very much disagree with that again from a good experience point of view, not that it isn't possible at all.

I brought this https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/wireless-desktop-800 For 20 Euro in Tesco 2 days ago and it works perfect.
Yes a PC needs an OS and a Keyboard and Mouse. But with the way your talking its like getting an OS or a K&M is a hard expensive thing to do.
And yes your spreeding lies. I point out that a PC can be build for 500 that can beat the PS4. You ask me to show you such a system and i do. Next you start complaining that it will cost almost 500 for an OS and how you need a keyboard and mouse and a DVD drive.
I then point out to you that the is a number of free OS's (Including Steam OS that has a libery of games larger then the PS4 already and still growing) and that a Windows license can be got for as little as 20-30 .
Then another user comes in and simply says he would of went with an Intel CPU instead of an AMD one, Well clearly pointing out that CPU will do fine for 3rd party games thats also on the PS4 since that has an even weaker AMD CPU. And you take this as a chance to try attacking that PC build that i showed you again with "Yeah good look with 8GB ram Also, the OS will take up all that unlike the PS4"
Me and that same user then explain to you that 8GB is fine and also that the GPU also has Ram that is GDDR5 and that if you wanted for an extra 20-30 euro you could upgrade the GPU to an R9-280 3GB GDDR5 GPU and that GPU would then make the system much much more powerful then the PS4 and well this is your reply to me.
Skip over the rest and point out about an OS and Keyboard and Mouse once again..
Anyways its best just to leave this here since i know what your agenda is.

Lies and Agenda, such strong words for such a remedial point.
Sorry you feel so defensive about this there really isn't a need, also my 2 points about the 1x8gb stick were that firstly just matching the memory of ps4/x1 wasn't a great for a PC since it's one of the cheapest things to increase in a build and simply matching spec for spec what is inside the box of the consoles would not yield identical results when a PC has a lot more going than just a game machine. Even if you were to go for 8gb then it would make zero sense to go for a single stick over a 2x4gb setup which would yield 1-2% speed increase across the board with the PC performance. Alas that goes into more of how a motherboard works than following a build on PC part picker in terms of "what someone on the internet says is a console beater".
But yeah, no interest in salt really if you think I'm spreading lies and have a secret agenda to get the world to hate PCs.... well yeah I don't fancy wasting time trying to prove I'm not in the console illuminati.
