Hahaha damn your good. That pc has been tested up against a number of multi plats and has been beating the PS4/X1 easy. And by him saying it could do with a better CPU he means for "PC Exclusives" or did you miss where he said "you can play most multiplats with a that amd cpu(the consoles have weak cpus too". And also this comment right here "I mean sure it might have 8gb of Ram but that is going to be eaten alive by an OS unless you happen to want linux (lol game support) or steamOS when its ready " shows me you know nothing about PC gaming. First of all, the is not one game out there that uses 8GB of System Ram. Also your video Card also has Ram, the one in that system has 2GB GDDR5. And like what Generic-user said, you could always upgrade that card to a r9 280 for like $20-30 more and then you have a system that can easy beat the PS4 and X1 and would suit any gamer as long as they dont expect to be running new games in 2k res (Most older ones, Pre 2014 will work fine in 2k and lots in 4k). So im sorry my friend that you have to come to the sock that PC gaming is cheap. And no matter how much you try to dismiss this fact and they and spreed lies "8gb of Ram but that is going to be eaten alive by an OS" such as that. It wont change the fact that more and more people are seeing great value in PC gaming and that its growing faster then its ever been. PC gaming is going though a Golden Age atm and the has never been a better time to join. |
Lol spread lies (a pc will want an OS and a keyboard/mouse) my sides. I've said a load of times I agree that you can game on a PC cheap, but I just pointed out that pointing people to a bunch of pieces missing parts is not a great way to introduce people to PC gaming, for the first time buyer into PC gaming it would sadly be easier for them to get a better experience by buying a pre-built "gaming PC" shelling out the extra bit of cash and not having to deal with some issues that'll pop up from doing a custom build.
That said, I've no interest in Angst ------ so I'll leave you to it, just please if you are introducing more people to the world of PC gaming, don't make it a rocky road into the field and I would say they would have a far more enjoyable experience.
Oh the comment about using splitting $20 between mouse/keyboard for gaming, I would very much disagree with that again from a good experience point of view, not that it isn't possible at all.
