Piracy does affect software sales. PSP software sales after 2010 almost entirely crashed due to piracy. PS2 piracy was rampant and its software sales were low despite high hardare sales. PS3 was a relatively small success compared to PS2 but due to being hard to pirate its software sales have been consistently high. Btw Im talking about India.

Yeah, that's what I said. PS4 software is selling much more than PS2 software, despite only selling a bit more hardware because the PS4 can't be pirated as easily.
