And for the record, while the post focuses a lot on how important mobile is in all of this, the point to drive home is that the membership program will be like a free fusion between Apple IDs, Steam, and a PS+/Gold-like service. It can be free because the rewards are based on purchases, like Club Nintendo and the DDP, rather than a subscription fee. The more you buy, the more you earn.
