Prices in Argentina are ridiculous especially in technology. That's what you get with an incompetent president.. things are getting worse in my country too, sad to live in South America really.

Things are not that expensive here anymore.

Everybody I meet says they are in a bad time but nobody stopped to drink a lot of beer and makes/go parties yet.

The situation is not THAT bad.

BTW. The situation is way better than Argentina crysis or some EU counties for example...

Completely agree with you. People say things are bad, but nobody had to make a drastic change in his/her life. The only diference now is that U$ is worth more than it used to compared to R$.

I'd say that there is a politic crisis though, because most politicians just thing about their own interests. I see that these times could mean that the country is changing for better, that people will not accept some situations anymore and we finally have a strong sense of democracy.

Also, I'd like to say that most Brazilians just don't help to give a good image to our country. Brazilians always say everthing is worse or everthing is wrong here. I just imagine what people from other countries think that is going on here after reading such things, they must think we live in hell. Interesting that most people who come here are surprised to see that it is actually a good place. I'm not saying it's perfect, because we do have many problems, but it is not even close to beeing bad.

Pretty much this.

I don't know if this help, but something that changed with the brazillian mindset is that we're getting more economic. After the hidric crisis when the water bills raised like a rocket, people got more conscient. People are now having priorities and are only buying things for necessisity, not for luxury. Maybe these changes have impacted on the economy since people here are thinking more before buying
