No, they didn't. They deliberately tried not to score on their last drive.  I don't know if Coughlin has literally gone senile, but that type of behavior does not deserve to be rewarded.

Apparently, down syndrom ELI was was busy marveling over his shiny new 4 year contract during the final drive of the game and TOLD Jennings not to score on 1st and 2nd down. Like the rest of Giants offense, I have no idea what happened on third down. 

It is, alas, a very common genetic defect, but I for one am hopeful that Eli will someday overcome it enough to at least count to three. In the meantime, his coach is happy to disown Eli's actions, and to tell the whole world that he not only wanted to go up ten, but that it's Eli who was "confused" by the number of timeouts had left. No idea what effect getting pushed under a bus has on neurological conditions, but I suspect it's less than wholly positive.
