Lol, the only reason the gap isn't larger is because MS is constantly having to do deals for XBO, some even looking like Black Friday deals, even though they already have a $50 advantage.  Now, what is going to happen when Sony finally decide to give the PS4 a pricecut?  Or if they were matching MS's deals like for like?  I'll give you the answer, the gap would be much larger.  Just watch the gap in Sept. with the new Destiny bundle.

I have been thinking of this for a while, but have not put any effort into reserch :p

But as I recall, this year( well I guess you can say since last holliday) I dont reall any month in wich the xbox did not have some kind of deal. And the only month it won iin the US was cuz they where ofering like $150 to trade in your 360(and/or ps3, Im not sure) for an x1. And everybody had the x1 on lockdown last month due to the insane $500 for a 40"+x1 bundle, gears and rare replay where also bonuses for the month and still the x1 lost.

I think the x1 would be selling worse than the wii u where it not for all the constan deals.

If anyone can remember all the diferent deals they have had alng this year alone, it could really shine a light into this.

I wouldn't go that far, but I'm sure it would have sold 50K-75K less than it has been if it weren't for the crazy deals.  And they're going to have to continue doing them if they want to stand any chance against even a $349 PS4.
